Pastor Nikki Fielder - Pastor

Pastor Nikki Fielder (she/her) is originally from Minnesota, but has lived in southern California most of her life. She attended California Lutheran University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Religion and minored in Mathematics. She then attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN where she received her Masters of Divinity with a focus in Children, Youth and Family Ministry. She has the privilege of being a specialized generalist as a pastor, committed to the love and care of God’s people, young and old, while also carrying gifts and heart for those in the first third of life. Her pastoral ministry has been centered around family faith formation, caring especially for children, youth and their families, in the congregation and at our local Lutheran Bible Camp- El Camino Pines (LRCC).

Nikki met her now husband Scott working as a summer camp counselor with Lutheran Retreats, Camps and Conferences in 2004. They are both pastors in the ELCA. In ministry, she has a deep commitment to nurturing faith in people of all ages (especially young people), collaborative work, experimenting with new ways to be church, and living authentic lives of faith. She enjoys the outdoors, live theatre, new foodie adventures, fun socks, and kindness.

Lisa Clinton - Preschool Director

Lisa Clinton is the Director at Christ Lutheran Preschool (CLP). Her passion for working with young children has led her to achieve her California State Child Development Director’s Permit and Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Family Studies from Cal State Long Beach. She has worked with infants through school age children in a variety of settings for the past 15 years. She has been serving at CLP since 2008.
