September 15th 2022 Maritime Industry Salute was held on the USS Iowa by the International Seafarers’ Center and supported by our Lutheran Maritime Ministry.
We honored the Marine Exchange of Southern California for it 100th Anniversary.
The Marine Exchange keeps the ships comings and goings in our ports 24/7!
Our Lutheran Chaplain Rev. Samson Chauhan led the opening invocation.
Christ Lutheran supports Chaplain Chauhan’s ministry with seafarers while they are here and around the world. We are a church in mission around the community and in the world. Rich O. and Ron Nelson represented CLC on this evening. Rich has made over 700 caps for the seafarers!
